Location: Waukee, Iowa
This 48-bed skilled care facility was designed as a resident-centered care model utilizing ‘neighborhoods’, each with their own dining and activity areas. Nurse stations are tucked away in each neighborhood and provide on-call access to monitor and work with residents. This model moves away from the traditional “medical” model of long hallways and large central dining areas.
